Written by Sir Henry Rider Haggard, an English writer of adventure fiction romances set in exotic locations and a pioneer of the lost world literary genre.

Illustrated by Charles Henry Malcolm Kerr, a British portrait, genre, landscape painter and illustrator.

Engraved on wood by James Cooper, an English wood-engraver, draughtsman, illustrator, and organist.


CONDITION

In the original full cloth binding. Externally, smart with minor rubbing and light fraying to the extremities. Fading to the spine with the odd small mark to the boards. Small splits in the cloth at the head of the spine. Front hinge starting but firm. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright with the odd spot or handling mark and light age toning to the extremities.
