SUMMARY: A stunning Silver Waltham 7 Jewel Traveller Grade 610 Pocket Watch Boer War made in 1902.

The watch recently serviced and overhauled by my watch maker, keeps reasonable time for a 120 year old watch, and watch comes with a two year mechanical warranty.

THE DIAL: 100% mint, the enamel dial with with black Arabic numerals and in bright condition with no hairlines or chips and signed Waltham. The dial with blued steel hands. The diameter is 42 mm . The crystal is also in excellent condition and retained securely.

THE MOVEMENT: 100% mint, with a 3/4 damasced plate and a regulator, and blued screws. A cut two arm bimetallic balance, with Breguet hairspring and lever escapement. The movement overall of very good quality, with a cut-away plate . The watch ticking away on my desk as I type this, and keeping reasonable time for a 100 year old watch. The movement a Waltham 610 calibre.

THE CASE: 100% mint, the solid silver case measures an impressive 49 mm. The front and rear covers both close nice and tightly. The case fully marked with Birmingham silver mark, E W Co. makers mark and case number of 604. The rear cover in fine condition with rose engine turning. The watch comes with a new presentation box to store the watch when not in use. This is a high quality watch, a work of art in its own right in crisp condition and of jewel like quality. The pictures show minor reflections and various dark marks, these are an artefact from the lighting and are not present in the watch case. This is a very fine period watch in simply stunning condition, which is a very rare collectable item or a possible investment for the future or of course a fine gift for a birthday, anniversary, wedding etc.
