Thename Steinbach is recognized all over the world for the unique design of theirwood carved masterpieces. Begun manyyears ago by Herr Christian Steinbach, the King of the Steinbach Nutcrackers. ..the tradition of creating fine, hand carved nutcrackers is being continued byhis daughter, Karla Steinbach.

Thesepieces are beloved for their wonderful themes, the exceptional craftsmanship ofthe handmade pieces, the wonderful colors, the incredible detail, and the accessories that accompany eachpiece.

Thiswonderful nutcracker is an appropriately dressed Monk, in a brown and tan garbwith rope belt and wonderful hat of brown and tan felt ... when the hood islowered, you can see his charming tuft of hair on his bald head... a circle ofauburn hair encircles his head... so cute

Inhis right hand, he carries a flask of his favorite beverage, and in front ofhim, on a base, is a brown hand made basket filled with purple and greengrapes, along with a bottle of the wine he makes... his bare feet are fittingfor the piece... wonderful !

Hestands approximately 16" tall and has his original tag as well as markingson the base of the piece identifying him as a Steinbach nutcracker, made inGermany ...... he comes from my personal collection and is in excellentcondition...

Heis part of a collection that I am offering for sale and new homes. I have approximately 40 pieces and would behappy to part with multiples if you can use them. Each piece was purchased new, stored in myhome in a temperature controlled room made for my collections. If there is something missing or somethingwrong with my pieces, I will photograph it and let you know. I purchased each of these wonderful piecesfrom a major retailer in Michigan... I have not kept any of the boxes that mypieces had as this would have necessitated an addition to my home.

Ordinarily my new pieces havea three day return policy, but as he comes from my personal collection, thereis no return policy on this piece...
